I have seen this dress online and absolutely LOVE it. I just happened to find it on sale for a great price in the store today and had to get it! I was thinking about wearing it for the rehearsal, but I am not sure if it is too formal?

I feel like it looks a little too much like a bridal gown for a rehearsal dress. You dont want to take away from the actual DRESS. Maybe it would be more appropriate if you shortened it?

How formal is your rehearsal? That dress strikes me as a bit formal, but I think shortening would be a cool idea too!

It definitely looks like a wedding dress. I’d be careful about wearing anything that might overshadow your own wedding dress on your own wedding day.
ETA: Shortening it is a good idea.

@zdb: I feel like it’s more bridal as well.

It looks more like a wedding dress to me. Maybe get it shortened? That will help tone down the wedding gown aspect of it.

Too similar to a wedding dress. Is your Rehearsal Dinner that formal?

I have to agree with the pp’s on this one, it feels very “bridal”. I would also suggest shortening the dress as an alternative. Good luck!

Is it a dye-able dress? I’d hem it for sure, and maybe dye it if you could. It is a really pretty dress, but it does look a little too much like a wedding gown for a rehearsal.

I thought that was your wedding dress before I read your comment.
This isn’t the best image, but you could shorten it to be similar to this. I think that if it’s short you wouldn’t have to dye it unless you wanted to.

I agree with the prior posters. I would consider it to be too bridal to wear to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner unless you shorten it and/or dye it.

Completely agree with PPs. IMO far too much like a wedding dress!
