Here’s the dress: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Twill-Gazar-Mermaid-Gown-with-Grosgrain-Sash-VW351081_Bridal-Gowns-Shop-By-Designer-White-by-Vera-Wang
I absolutely love the fact that it’s so simple and unadorned – we are having a very small outdoor wedding and I had originally planned just to wear a white sundress, but I found the above dress and was floored. It is so gorgeous and elegant!
Only problem is that it’s a mermaid style and it also has a corset back… both of which are really pretty, I’m just worried that it will be too tight or revealing. I’m 5’4″ and about 120 pounds so I hope I wouldn’t look weird in a mermaid dress – I don’t have a lot of curves! Do you guys think this dress is too sexy for a simple outdoor wedding? Or am I over thinking it? Haha I probably am.
Here’s the veil I’d pair it with:
How do you guys like this combo?

I think they’ll be beautiful together!

It’s hard to tell if the dress would be too sexy, maybe a picture? For the veil, I think it would look good with the dress, but won’t it be too long for an outdoor garden wedding?

Love it – looks awesome together.

Ooh…yes & yes! The veil will especially look beautiful in photos 🙂

I think they look great togethor. My only concern would be seeing it is an outdoor wedding that the veil is too long and would be in the way esp if its a windy day, but you can always take it off as soon as you take your pictures 🙂

I agree with past posters… they look gorgeous together, and seperate, I like them both…. but if you were orginially going to wear a white sundress, for your simple outdoor wedding, I’m worried a cathederal length veil will look out of place

I actually said, “oh my gd” aloud when I saw the veil. I think that will look beautiful, logistics aside!
