it’s mostly just tacky to me. UH OH, I SAID THE “T” WORD!!! I’d have 2nd hand embarassment for whoever wore it.

A friend of mine purchased this dress as her second dress. I thought it was great for the party but I think it would have been a little tacky if she had worn it down the aisle.

It has all the things I hate in a wedding dress…I’d be embarrassed as well.

I think it depends on the atmosphere you are going for?  A few years back, friends of mine got married then went clubbing as their reception, and she wore something somewhat similar.  It worked in that context.

I don’t really get the hype over Pnina (or the price).  Are the fabrics really that luxe?  I understand the beading ups it a lot but come on.  So final answer: It’s not my style.

@Zaria: Yeah, you can spot a Pnina from a mile away [unfortunately]. heh heh…

I mean, something like that – especially a mini Pnina – is better suited to the bedroom, imo. I can’t imagine wearing something like that in front of our families.

For what it’s worth, I loathe see-through corsets on anything but lingerie…and yeah, the skirt is a little too short, too. It’s just not a classy look.
