@stephinPA: Is that one in the hat Cher in disguise?

ETA: Nah…Cher’s classier than that.

Yeah, I’m gald there are other ladies out there who just don’t get all the hype over Pnina.

I really, really, really don’t like this dress.  For me, I think this type of dress is inappropriate for a wedding, even if it’s your personal style, because it could really make guests (especially older family members) very uncomfortable.  I think my grandmothers would be shocked and embarrassed to see me walking down the isle in this.

And yeah, I think the combo of short and see-through is too much.  If you want to do something different and use one of them, I’d go for more conservative/covered up in the other respect.

I wouldn’t wear it at all, but for the right personality and the right moment, it could be cool, I guess. I’m not going to categorically write it off. It’d be terrible for a wedding ceremony, I think, but if someone were having some kind of really elaborate and long reception, I could see the bride changing into it at around 11 p.m., say, when the funky dance party is really getting into full swing and the older folks have gone to bed.

The corset doesn’t bother me, it’s the length of that dress with the corset that throws it off.

@Zaria: Pnina’s always divide people lol! especially on Say Yes to the Dress- I personally can not stand the style- I think its a bit too revealing for my tastes (I think my SO would run and cover me up, and hes usually a really laid back guy lol). Its also not flattering to me- I mean you can see everything, and that kinda mulls the effect of the dress- it should bring out your best physical attributes- here it just shows everything and I dont feel a longer skirt would help the cause. I also have a thing against that much see through fabric lol!

Oh geez. There is a difference between shocking and hideous. This one is a little of both though.  I don’t love it.

The see-through corset makes me not like it.

Well, if you have a banging body and are eloping in Vegas it would be perfect!

If you want to be sexy on your wedding there are dresses out there that can accentuate and reveal your figure in a more classy way.  That dress looks like a Vegas costume to me or something.  It could work as a reception dress if you were in the right environment… but I still personally don’t like it.

It looks like something Britney or Christina wore doing the Madonna thing.

@Zaria: There are some very beautiful ones, I have to admit- its sad that the most airtime on SYTTD is the shocking or really extravagant ones. I think Pnina is talented, and I dont think this dress is her best 🙂

See through and short with lots of sparkle and volume = horrifying.
