I think I have finally decided on a menu, but I am worried it will not be enough food. Please let me know if I am missing anything that I can add to my menu. It is all finger food/bite sized food. It will be at noon, so it will be considered lunch. There will be 15 people there. Thanks in advance!
Two drinks, one alcoholic with berries, and one non-alcoholic.
Mini quiche, meatballs, chicken chunks and a shrimp tray.
Fruit and veggie tray, taco salad and quinoa salad.
colored candy and cupcakes forr dessert.
We food these very cute sorbets that come in half the outter part of an orange, lemon, mini pinnaple and mini coconut as well. They are the cutest thing ever! Should I still use those even though I am making cupcakes???
Please let me know of things I can add to make this menu better!

@stillframe: I think what you have is enough!! Are the quinoa and taco salad substantial? The sorbets things sound really cute, I would get them

@lealorali: Thanks! Everyone loves my moms taco salad! As for the quinoa I just wanted to have a healthier salad as well. Everything on the menu is not the healthiest!

I think you have enough but the menu doesn’t exactly scream brunch, at least not the brunch we’re use to.
Sorbet sounds adorable & yummy!

@MsSparklyBee: The party starts at noon, so it’s really lunch. Just a nicer way of saying light lunch.

I think your menu sounds great and definitely is enough food! But I agree with PP that it doesn’t sound like typical brunch items.
And sorbets would be a nice touch!

I think you need to add something like muffins, bread, scones, or something like that. It would just round it out a little bit.

@stillframe: Brunch typically has a lot of food & options at least here. Maybe it’s different in Canada. I would just call it a light lunch. Unless that’s the norm there.

It doesn’t matter what you call it, you have enough food. It’s funny how we would all get by quite nicely with one or two dishes at home, but some people expect more than 10 choices when they are out.

Why don’t you add some pastries? That would complete it, I think! Looks yummy!
