littlemisshostess :  this is a good point! We finish our Swedish meatballs in an electric cooker, maybe she can do that for the BBQ meatballs and they can stay warm.

for parties of like 10-15 I always feel like its a little in between… I love having more of a cocktail style but the idea of being tied to the stove puts me off so I use my slow cookers a lot. I will have mac & cheese in one (a more “fancy” version usually with some nice cheeses and sometimes truffle flavor) mini meatballs in another, some cheese type dip & spinach and artichoke dip with pita chips and bread – also I usually have some sort of DIY taco or slider station as well as a selection of cold things (cheese plate/ salami & meats/ crudite with dip etc)
