I think so! I’d include 2 bottles of water if the Out of Town bag is for a couple, but if you’re doing one bag per person, then 1 would absolutely be enough. It’s a gesture, after all.

I think what you have is fine, but I agree with adding a 2nd bottle of water.

Do you have Costco near you?  Their Kirkland brand spring water is less than $3 for a case of 35 bottles.

Also, for anyone who is interested, Oriental Trading has customized bottle labels 54 for $12 (which is already a decent price), but I found a coupon for $5 off and free shipping.  With the labels, our cost came out to about 21 cents per bottle.

This is great. If you can, also add info about landmarks of interest in your area. If your city has a tourist infomation office, then you can get this for free.

I think that is good.

If your guests arent familiar with the area you may want to throw in some info. on local attractions or places to eat.

Sounds great to me!  I give you credit for doing out-of-town bags since we aren’t even doing them at all.  Sorry guests, too many other areas that need our attention and money!

I think you have more than enough things in your Out of Town goodie bags. 🙂

I would be more than happy to receive a bag like that!  I agree with PP about 2 bottles of water.  There are also a lot of free templates for water bottle labels on the Bee.  Just another cute touch. 🙂

@chittychittybanebane: we are doing apples too – we found an orchard where we can get the apples for super cheap since I need 90!

Sounds good (and thoughtful) to me!  At my first wedding I did the same – one basket per guestroom.  I’ll see if I can find a pic to share.  This time around Fiance and I now are doing a destination wedding but this time I’m not doing a Out of Town gift basket.  It’s only immediate family so I don’t think there’s any need and we’re doing favors anyway.

Found it.  I did mini wine bottles, imported Hawaiian teas, soaps and lotions and a packet of info of what to do while in town before/after the wedding.  We married in NorCal but it was a beachy theme.  Good luck to you!
