I really don’t like it when flower girls look like little brides and match the bride. It’s just not something that appeals to me. But, if that’s what you’re going for, I’d at least put in some color, maybe with a sash. And, I don’t like how the top is so bland compared to the very layered bottom.

The second dress is a little better. I personally don’t like flower girl dresses to look like a miniature wedding gown, but it’s your wedding, so pick what you like!

I think I like the second one a bit better, but they’re both cute. Also, for what it’s worth, when I was planning my wedding, I was so worried about having an ivory gown and white other things and it did not matter one bit. You can’t even tell in pictures.

@fresitachulita:  I don’t think it matters at all if the flower girl dress doesn’t match in shade to the bride’s dress. I’m all for mismatching in colors, though. The second dress, while still too “bride-like,” is better than the first one.

I don’t really like the first dress. Something about it is off.

I, personally, DO like the long-standing tradition of having flower girls in white or ivory to coordinate with the bride’s gown.  I think both Flower Girl dresses you posted are cute. I think the first one goes best with your gown.

I like the second one best and don’t think the color mismatch matters

I like the second one better – super cute and classy!

I don’t like the bodice in the first one at all. It looks like a swimsuit top to me, and I think the tied-halter style looks a little too casual when compared to the rest of the dress. That ruffled skirt is adorable and fun, but I think it might look outdated/trendy in a couple of years, whereas the second style is timeless.

@fresitachulita:  I like the first one but the second one’s definetley better.
