My mom used to work in a hospital, and said the majority of miscarriages were boys.  Know a woman who miscarried a boy, and the doctor told her the same thing.  So yes, there is truth to it, and it makes sense from what they said in the article.

Well I had a boy… on his due date… over 9lbs in fact and I had a super stressful 1st few months of pregnancy. I dropped out of HS, my sons dad cheated on me and I moved far away with my grandmother where I knew no one. That was emotional stress but I had physical stress too with under weight issues and iron and sugar problems. The rest of the pregnancy was kinda tough too being 18, alone, and going to college. Maybe I’m just not the norm? tehe.

The first few weeks of my pregnancy were by far, the most stressful of my life.  But I knew I was pregnant very early (at 3wks 5 days) so once I found out, I made an effort at that point to handle my stress level better and let things go. And now I have a healthy baby boy. Guess there are exceptions to the rule.
