i love piraguas and it has been so long that i dont have one. i think is a great idea. in what part in puerto rico are you getting married?? we are getting married in isabela (west side of the island) we will have puertorican food and music and some pleneros to complement the entertainment.
im so jealous i didnt think of the piraguero before. i think is a great idea and perfect for a puerto rican weddding.

@Magenta I haven’t chose a Venue yet… But Im thinking San Juan since all of my fiance’s family is from around that area. Where in Isabela is your venue? Are you having an outdoor ceremony?

I think this is a wonderful idea. I am doing this at my wedding this year in September instead of a full dessert table to add add Puerto Rican flair to the wedding. We are getting married in Old San Juan. The one thing I have

Those sound yummy! Your guests will enjoy them since they are different than what most weddings offer. If someone thinks they are cheap, they don’t have to take one. Keep in mind that a wedding should be fun too. Not everything has to be elegant and fancy, especially if it doesn’t fit your personalities. I would serve them as a late night snack after the reception. However, if you are getting married on a hot day, then serve them between the ceremony and reception. Just make sure to have plenty of napkins.
