I think it’s gorgeous, personally. I don’t think it’s TOO trendy, but I’m also the type who isn’t really good at idenfitying that type of stuff.

I think it’s a stunning gown, and was at the top of my list of dresses to try on – until my fiance said he doesn’t care for tulle (sigh). I don’t think you’ll look back and regret it, there’s nothing too “loud” about it to make you hate it later. Besides, who cares if you look like you got married in the decade you got married? It’ll either be timeless or vintage 😉

I love this dress.  I tried it on and, sadly, it looked terrible on me.  It sounds like you love it, so I say go for it!  In my opinion, this dress is not any more trendy than other dresses out there.  Plus, I’d worry more about how you feel in it now than how you think you might feel x years in the future.

The top might be a little trendy, but I think the flowy bottom and the simple shape make it look elegant. I don’t think you’ll look back in 20 years and be like “oh god… I remember that trend.”

I’d love it if it wasn’t sheer/nude looking. I guess how nude looking it is will depend on your skin.

portlandbee:  Hi there!  The dress is beautiful.  no matter what there will always be some “trend” so I wouldn’t worry too much about that.  If you are a little worried about your fiancé not liking the tulle, essence of Australia has a dress a little similar but a bit more traditional bridal.  I saw the dress in blush, but it comes in other color combos.

Illusion necklines are really popular now but it’s practically like a strapless.  So I wouldn’t worry about it being too trendy.  It’s a beautiful gown!  Go for it!

I don’t know about trendy and outdated and all that, but I think it’s beautiful on its own and if you really love it then that’s all that matters!

I don’t think it’s too trendy at all. I could see how the gown would fit in better at certain types of venues, though.
