I want your honest opinion: we just purchased this new halo setting:
(Sorry for the huge pic)
It was kind of an impulse buy, and when we got home I started reading more about halos and saw that the max size most people like in halo stones are 2 pointers (0.02 carats), and the average is usually much smaller. I did the math, and the stones in this halo are 0.04, or 4 pointers. I love, love, love bling, which is why we wanted to go with a halo, but I don’t by any means want it to look cheap and tacky. The center stone is 1.25 carats.
Does this size halo completely distract from the center stone? any opinions are appreciated!

@kamiawi711: I absolutely love it! NOT tacky.

Definitely not a fan of halos in general, but for my own tastes it is too thick.

It’s perfectly perfect! Love it!

Kinda big but still looks good, especially if you love bling!

I am in the process of having my 2 pointers changed to either 1.5 or 1 pointers (still deciding) so obviously I prefer small halo stones, but I actually think your halo is pretty and doesn’t distract from the center stone.

i think it takes away from the center diamond some.

I think it looks a tiny bit thick for the centre stone

No! If anything I thin your wedding band should be bigger to match!
