@kamiawi711:  “the max size most people like in halo stones…”

I think the key word there is “most.” Personally, I really don’t like halos at all so, yes, to me it looks big. But I’m not wearing it. I’m never going to see your ring again, so my opinion doesn’t really matter. Even the opinions of your friends and family doesn’t matter much – they’re not the ones wearing it, they don’t have to look at it every day. Only your and your fiance’s opinion counts here. If you love a thick halo, then stick with it!

if you had a smaller centre stone it would look disproportional – but i think it looks nice with your stone!

@kamiawi711:  I love the ring! It’s sparkly and bright!  Dont get caught up in what other people think.  You bought the ring because you obviously fell in love with it…Just because the “average” stones in halos are 2 pointers doesn’t mean a 4 pointer isn’t beautiful! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!! Rock that ring girl:) Who wants to be “average” Anyway?

I love it! One of my big problems with finding a ring is that most of the ones I saw had sidestones that were TOO small for my taste!

I think it’s a bit thick.  Personally, I prefer delicate halos.  It’s kind of distracting from the center stone to me.

I think it looks beautiful.  For my own personal taste, I like the more delicate halos but yours doses not look tacky At all!

I personally don’t like halos, so the thinner the better to me.  Since you like blingy jewelry though, I think your ring is perfect for you.  The thicker halo definitely sets it apart from your typical halo.

@kamiawi711:  Not tacky, but everyone will have their own opinions. I am sure some people would consider anything besides a plain solitaire to be gaudy. As long as YOU love it, that’s all that matters.

I bet it sparkles like crazy. I love bling!

Honestly, I do think it takes away from the center stone. IMO a thin and delicate round halo would best highlight your pretty diamond if you want to go with a halo.

Being that your center stone is on the large side, I think it fits. Very pretty ring!

I really like it! It doesn’t look like a typical halo & because your center stone is a good size, it doesn’t overwhelm the ring. It looks nice!
