So over the past few months I have started the dress hunt, have been to many stores, and tried on many dresses…I have liked many, but don’t know if I truly love them…haven’t had that cry moment from myself yet…but did get it from my mom. Not sure if I am the type that will ever have that experience, but it makes it seem like you need to to make sure you have “THE” correct dress….
Recently tried on a style that I NEVER thought I would like on myself…please give me any good OR bad advice on what you think of the dress…how it fits, the style, etc…
I never thought I would like a bodice that is so tight…they called it the “fit and flare” style…this is a Paloma Blanca dress that just came out for Fall 2010…is it flattering…or too snug? The dress I tried on was a size too small…so I would need it a little bigger…help!

I think this style looks really great on you! It is not too “snug,” especially once you get it in the correct size.

Oh my goodness, it is SO SO flattering on you! You look gorgeous. Sometimes it pays to shake things up and try on something totally different from what you imagined!

I love it. The style and color are great. Go up one size and you should be fine!
If you arent sold, wait a few months and look around before your order it. Us August 2011 girls still have time!! (As every bridal store Ive been too keeps reminding me…)

I REALLY like it on you!
The only thing I’m going to say, is that I tried on a ton of dresses and went with a fit/flare with ruffles after getting “fed up” and thinking, this is as good as it gets. After it came in I realized how my vision never changed and I was heartbroken I didn’t have a ball gown with a straight (no ruffle) skirt. Just don’t settle. I think this is fab and looks made for you! Just make sure it’s THE dress and not just “I haven’t found one yet and this is decent” kind of dress.
my dress is now for sale and I had to call every store that carries the dress in the nation to find my dream dress as a sample near my size in decent shape. (3 months out!) The stress and heartache there are no words for. Don’t settle if you’re not sure.
As I said, it LOOKS fab, just… know how YOU feel. If you’re not comfortable no matter how amazing we tell you that you look… you won’t be comfortable.
What do YOU think about it?

I think it is a very flattering fit on you. Go up one size and it will be perfect! What is the color? I think maybe a Diamond White would really flatter your skin tone!!

I think that the dress is very pretty and very flattering on you. I agree that you need to go up a size (really not even a size, just an inch or so) to get rid of the “snug” effect you mentioned around the top. However, the rest of the dress looks like it fits you perfectly. What is most important is, do you like the dress? I didn’t have that “THIS IS THE ONE”/cry moment when I found my dress, but I did know that it was my favorite/I loved the fit/etc. Do you feel that way about this dress?

I really like it!!! I dont know how you feel about a bit of bling but I would take the bow off and and a sash with bling on it. It looks awesome on you.
