So today I attended an appointment with a local bridal shop which stocks maggie sottero. Only to be disappointed to find that these dresses are way out of my dress budget with most dresses costing between $2000-$3000 in Australia which is twice the advertised price on an american website. I then went to another bridal shop in town where I have tried on dresses before. No appointment required. I retried on the first dress which i loved. And i still love it today. This Dress is Alfred Angelo Disney Rapunzel 221. Will need some alterations to make it fit and at $1395 plus alterations i think it will do perfectly for my outdoor wedding in summer at a local winery. I think im gonna say yes to thi dress what are your thoughts? Not sure about how to have my hair or what type of veil to use yet.

I think its absolutely beautiful, but you don’t look like you love it.

I like the back but the front is just kinda hanging there and does not compliment you. I say keep looking…

It gives you an amazing figure. Your pictures don’t capture your happiness that well though, how did you feel in the dress? Were you smiling a lot when pictures weren’t being taken?
Overall though, I feel if you need to ask people if it’s your dress, then it probably isn’t. If you love it, feel free to prove me wrong though! 😀

thanks for your thoughts. Its kinda funny that you both think im unhappy with the dress cause i really love the dress. i think im just not very good at posing for photos – something i will have to practice before the wedding.

I thought that may be the issue. In the pictures of me in my dress, I’m not smiling all that much either lol. I was more concerned about my auntie taking 10 million photos on my phone lol!

It gives you a real nice shape but I’m not too fond of the side ruching. I think you would look great in a mermaid style dress.

it looks good on you! if you love it, go for it!

I think once the alterations are done and it fits you like a glove, it’ll love lovely. I agree that a mermaid shape would look smashing on your figure!

I think you look amazing! I love that dress, and I think you look like a princess!

You are so beautiful, it is your wedding dress.

You are lovely, that dress is not.
-It looks like very thick fabric which isn’t flattering.
-It’s good in the upper waist, but looks like it’s pushing out your lower stomach.
-I dislike visible corsets … and a corset for $1400? No thank you.
I say keep looking. It’s not either or!

I think that you look beautiful but the dress does not. I loved dress number 2 and 3 in your previous post.

Oh I just love the first dress. It shows off your figure in such a pretty way. It is unquie. Very pretty. The second dress is common. the first dress even seems fitting for the venue by the detail. But, most important, which one makes you feel happy?
