I dont think it’s too long.  It’s both common and easy names so it’s not difficult, which is what I think matters more than number of letters.

My baby brother is named Daniel Jonathan David William with a 4-letter last name – I don’t think yours comes even close to being “too long” ๐Ÿ˜€

No it’s not too long, and like you said how many times will he use the whole thing?  I only use my middle name cause my first name is four letters and my last name is one syllable.  I really like how Benjamen Christopher flows.

I think it’s fine as @pinkshoes: said they are both traditional names and spelt traditionally so it shouldn’t be an issue – plus most people don’t use their middle names regularly ๐Ÿ™‚

@kelly105:  Wtf at the nurses’ comment! People can be so weird. I LOVE that name. And how often is he going to write out his middle name? Not often.

@kelly105:  I think it’s perfectly fine.

Actually, I’m considering a girl’s name with 4+4+2. Eeeesh.

@kelly105:  No, it’s fine. If they were two really weird/hard to pronounce names, then maybe.. but they’re good classical names.

Realistically you’ll only be calling him by his full name when he’s in trouble ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just sounded my full name out and it has about the same # of syllables as your choice, and it sounds fine.
