hrmmm…. i know my brother started rapidly losing weight and it was bc he was having intestinal issues. basically his body wasnt absorbing the nutrients it needed. anyways…. i would see a doctor if this is out of the ordinary for you. your thyroid could also have something to do with it too. its so hard to say!

I have never heard of this before but I wish it would happen to me!

Maybe the unhealthy food you are eating has less cals? I dont know what else would do it. I most people say home cooked meals are healthier but sometimes I wonder?

I’d try to keep track of how many calories (approx) you’re consuming a day.  Although you may not be eating healthy foods, you could be eating less than you think.  If you are eating more calories than before though, I’d check in with a doctor.

Or have you changed your workout routine lately?  If you’ve built up more muscle, your body could be more efficient…

You can definitely lose muscle really quick. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s part of it. But I do agree that it’s a lot of weight to lose in a short amount of time.

I mean, 12 lbs is 10% of your body weight. And that’s concerning. Do you have time to get to a doctor?

Stress can cause weight loss if it stops you from eating. But if you’ve been eating—whether healthy or not as healthy—that’s a huge amount of weight in two weeks. I think it’s worth a call.

If your heart has been racing lately, I’d definitely call your doctor.  I’m no medical expert, but you could have an increase in adrenaline (hormone production) and something my be off balance.  I don’t think it’s normal for you to lose that much in such a small amount of time if you haven’t changed your eating habits and aren’t exercising.

If you eat really clean then eat bad for a week or so it can boost your metabolism.

large or rapid weight gain or loss could possibly be attributed to your thyoid.  I’d def go to the doctor and explain.  They can run tests and such.  It might be nothing.

Ok fellow chubby bees…. I’ll hold her while you kick her & then we’ll switch!!

JUST KIDDING!!

That does not sound at all normal so I’d agree that you visit your doctor just to make sure everything is alright. Hopefully it is just stress, but knowing for sure should be better for you because clearly you are concerned enough to ask here & you don’t need to add any stress to your plate.
