@nl:  I think I only got 25% of my rsvps back. We started calling before the deadline, and pretty everyone at that point said they forgot/threw the invitation away/whatever other BS excuse.

Im nervous about our RSVPS too!! We sent ours out almost 2 weeks ago, And we havent got a whole lot back. maybe like 12 we got back, and almost half are no’s!

Im extremely nerovus as we sent about 80 of them out, They still have 3 weeks before our “Please respod by” date. But Im about to freak out not knowing.

We HAVE to pay for a minimam of 120 people at our reception (weather they show r not) Nervous we arent going to come close now.

I got 4 cards back today, and they where all no’s 🙁

This might be my first bridezilla freakout moment.

@alyssars1:  we had a minimum also that we HAD to pay for, and we were surprised by how many declines we got. We ended up inviting a bunch of my fiancé’s work friends that had been asking to come, so it worked out. At this point tho, I know of at least 5 people that are going to be no-shows the day of. They haven’t officially told me, but I’ve heard they are not showing. Whatever people suck with ettiquette.

I sent mine out today (YES!) and I put March 25th as the RSVP date. Don’t judge me…super short engagement.

I am praying to GOD that people actually RSVP. And I’m really hoping that a lot of them are regrets. We invited too many people! Haha.

@nl:  I sent my invitations out the middle of January and the RSVP date was February 12th. We had to turn the total numbers in the first of March to the vendor. I’d say two weeks before the RSVP due date I maybe received 10 RSVPs. We sent out 150 invitations. We are getting married this week. I eventually received RSVPs for about 70% of the people we invited. The rest of the people we called or asked another family member if they were coming. We have 95 people attending.

@nl:  Date twin! 🙂

We needed to have ours back a bit earlier then normal, and I expected to have to chase people down so I gave myself an extra week for that. We have received all RSVP’s back but 2 and our RSVP date was March 10th. (Granted, we are having a smaller wedding – currently the guest list is at 63 people).

@OtterHalf:  Wow. Threw it away? Oh… I hope that doesn’t happen to me. I’m a pretty mean person and I may have to bite my tongue AND sit on my hands if someone tells me that.

@nl: Date twins!!

I sent our invitations out Feb 4th.. and in the beginning we’d get back 5-10 each day.. now it’s like every third day we’ll get 2.. it’s really dwindling down. We sent out 100 invitations (194 people) and as of right now we have 138 yes’ and 11 no’s .. So we have more than 1/2 our responses back.. our cut-off is April 1. So compared to my results yours seems a little low.. but every wedding group is different.. maybe your guests are just slow to return the RSVP, you know its is quite difficult to put a check mark & stick something in the mail Wink And I do think people tend to wait til last minute to send them back, why I have no idea.. people are weird. I decided once April 1 passes I will contact (via text/phone call/email) the people I have not gotten a response from and that is it.. you get one chance to get back to me, then you’re a “no.” So if they show up & think they’ll have a seat, they’re sorely mistaken.

@TaurianDoll:  SERIOUSLY. That would merit a terse, “Sorry you can’t make it” followed by me hanging up.
