Hmm, that’s a good question. I was one of those brides that did not care if my guests wore white but if the bride does care, this is cutting it kind of close. I was ask her if you are close enough with her.

I’ve always heard that it’s not so much about wearing white, as it is about upstaging the bride. No one is going to wonder who is the bride here. This looks like a cute dress and IMO absolutely appropriate to wear to a wedding.

I fall into the camp of, “if you have to ask, then no.”

What a lovely dress!  It is a bit white for a wedding, though… Maybe if you add a light shawl to it or something?

I don’t think it’s appropriate for a night time wedding.  For a casual daytime wedding, sure but no for the night.  my opnion has nothing to do with the fact that it’s white.

I wouldn’t give a crap if you wore that to my wedding. I think it’s cute.

I like it. Its not completely white, but if you have to ask the bride, then maybe no!

I’d say yes for a daytime casual wedding, but it looks very juvenile to me.

@MrsTVLover:  This.

If it were me, I woudn’t even consider it. I wouldn’t want to possibly be given the stink eye all night when there are a million other cute dresses out there. Though the bride might not mind, there are going to be people who are going to think you are being rude for wearing a dress that is mostly white.

@bpinkrose13:  Too white, and also pretty casual for most night time weddings.

A bit too white, I think.

IMO, it would be rude to wear this.  Surely you have other dresses you could wear?  Way too much white, plus it’s more of a sun dress which is a bit casual for a wedding.   Are you invited to the rehearsal dinner?  This would be ok for that.  It’s an adorable dress, but not appropriate for a wedding.

Ehhh, I wouldn’t. Although it probably wouldn’t bother me as a bride, I do think it’s kind toeing the line a bit too much as far as wearing white to a wedding goes. Yeah, it has a print, but it’s a very light one.
