My father passed away over 10 years ago. He was never really part of my life and if he was still alive I’m not even sure I’d have him walk me down the isle (my Father-In-Law is giving me away). I am honoring his memory with a rose on the alter.
I don’t want my future Mother-In-Law to be hurt that her and her son don’t do the Mother/Son dance. She’s a great woman and I couldn’t ask for a better Mother-In-Law. Would it be weird for them to do their dance but me to not do one? I love my Father-In-Law but I would feel weird if we did the dance since he’s not technically my father.
What do you think?
