Did any of you bees realize the funniness of my title? Anywho….
Onto my real question, I have created my save-the-dates but wondering if I should keep or take out the link to our wedding website.
Did anyone put their website on their save the dates or did you wait to put that on the invitations instead? I have the link to the website on my invitations if that is important to any of you girls.

I noticed the funny title. Then remembered what STD meant after i looked at the “paper” tag.
I can’t help with your question, but thought you’d like to know I had a giggle… haha

We put it on ours and it was pretty much the only time people looked at it. 🙂 haha. It was a good decision, I think.

I would only put it in the STD if lots of people are traveling and need to book ahead of time. Otherwise, just putting in the invitation is fine.

Haha I’m glad you said something about the wording of your title b/c save-the-date definitely did not come to mind first 🙂
Anyway, we put our website on the STD and not on the invitations. I do kind of regret not putting them on the invites though in retrospect bc I don’t think people really paid all that much attention to it and are now coming to us with questions about hotel reservations, wedding registrations, etc.

@JoJoDahling: I would add a poll. It will help you to get more opinions.

I put the website on the STD. I accidentally left it off the invitations (whoopsies) but figured everyone we really wanted at the wedding already got a STD with the website info on it.

@ERsax: Haha, thanks!
@AmeliaBedelia: Thank you!
@AlwaysSunny: Good thought.
@arametta127: Thank you for getting the humor! That is what I am kind of worried about, I am afraid that they will just forget and not think anything about it and then ask all these questions that are answered on the website…People don’t always want to coorperate…
@ChefDori: Poll added! Thank you.
@prettynewpenny: Oh that is good! Maybe the same thing will happen in my case too.

I think if you have the website ready to go it’s worth it to post on your STD’s as well. We pretty much saw two spikes in traffic right when the STD’s went out and again when the invites went out. But if there’s nothing there to look at, I’d leave it off.

@SapphireSun: I have the website ready to go! All I need to do is put my second registry up but I’ll have that done before the STDs’ get sent out.

I noticed and giggled right away! We don’t have a wedding website, we did paper std’s. But to answer your question, my cousin had her website info on their std’s and not their invites.
