That dress is amazingly beautiful and unique (and normally I am not a fan of the “big dress”)  But wow!  I love the uniqueness of that.  I wouldn’t say that was out of style.  Please keep the dress!  SAY YES AGAIN TO THAT DRESS:)  its beautiful!

oh and looking at the pic again, I love the lace “sleeve”  would love to see a pic of you in it!  (i sound like a mad stalker or something, but i’m all about photos)

its gorgeous!  What designer is it if you don’t mind me asking?

I love your dress! Those things aren’t out of style, they just aren’t people’s personal style, that’s all. Just like you may not like mermaid style, other’s don’t like pickups.

Can’t wait to see photos of you in the dress, be sure to come back and show us some! 😀

@Corilee13: A good seamstress certainly can. Our seamstress is doing exactly that for my mom’s dress and she didn’t seem to think it would be a problem.

Your dress is very romantic looking!

The way I see it is, wear whatever you want to. It’s the one day to wear your ultimate fantasy dress that you will never be able to again.

The most important thing is that you feel amazing in it.

Forget what others think. Do you like it? Do you LOVE it? if you do, that that is wha matters. Your radiant face will matter most.

@Corilee13: Hiya, first, we are wedding month twins!! 2012 Rocks. I truly do not think you dress looks dated, in fact, I think its spectacular!! I’m thinking it will look really beautiful against your auburn/red hair, too. My gown doesn’t have pick ups but I was originally looking for a neckline similar to yours until I fell in love with the gown I ended up purchasing. My philosophy is, if you feel like a beautiful bride then that’s all that matters. Laughing

I agree with everyone else.  It is not dated at all.  I personally don’t  like pickups FOR MYSELF, but that should not matter to you.  Obviously many people love strapless dresses too, and I don’t like them as much (though I wore one for my wedding!)… but this doesn’t mean they are out of style.  Just not to my liking as much as other styles.  So be glad that you like something a bit different and get to have your own unique look on your wedding day! 🙂

Um, that dress is BEAUTIFUL!  I seriously love it.

Also, don’t worry about people on the internet saying it’s “out of style.”  No one goes to enough weddings to keep up with bridal fashion.  Your guests (and your fiance) are not going to know it’s out of style (if it even IS, which I’ve only heard within the past week or so, and only on Wedding Bee).

I’ve never been a big fan of pick ups, but your dress is beautiful! It’s making me change my mind about pick ups!
