Interviews call for a full up suit to me so I’d go with no.  But I guess it could be dependant on the type of job.

I agree with pinkshoes–I think it depends on the job. I usually go with a matching blazer and slacks or skirt, something very neutral. Either way, good luck and fingers crossed for you!! 🙂

I would interview in that! But I work at museum type places, so they tend to be lax about rules. But it seems like a totally great interview outfit to me!!

I’d say if you had a suit jacket to put over it that would be fine, but unless it’s for a very casual company, I don’t think it’s professional enough as-is.

CanadianBride456:  As the pp’s have said, it does depend on the type of position you are interviewing for.

I can’t tell if that is a midi or maxi length skirt but it does look a bit dowdy- kind of schoolmarm-ish.

I think the outfit looks okay… +1 on adding a black blazer to make it more professional looking for a formal interview. Either a pant suit or a skirt suit to tie the look together.

CanadianBride456:  I would suggest wearing a suit jacket so it looks more suit like if it is for a museum job.

Agree with PP, adding a suit jacket would make the look more professional.

TBH, I don’t like the top for an interview. All those  bows seem a little on the young side and a bit unprofessional.

for a museum i’d try to wear a blazer, or if you have a more professional dress.

I think it’s great! I’m in Hawaii though and people don’t typically dress up as much. Your outfit is a lot more professional than the outfits I’ve worn to interviews (and got the jobs).
