@babypearls:  Personally, I’m not a big fan of Pnina.  But if you like it, go for it!

I like these Allure crystal-bodice-tulle/net/organza-skirt dresses more than the Pnina.

You have *a lot* of time to pick out your dress, so lots of time to try on different dresses and find something you love that you don’t have to alter to make it work for you.  Plus you’ll be able to catch the Spring collections when they come out next year – there might be something in a designer’s new collection that is exactly what you love!

@KatyElle:  I will park my +1 over next to you.  I think Pnina charges a lot of money to make brides look cheap.

Looking at the pictures you posted (and having seen this on SYTTD), I find that dress trashy.  You completely rock the dress that you posted a few posts up.  You have a great figure!

I love it, I wish I had the body to rock something like that. I love over the top, though white isn’t really my cup of tea.

I much prefer the dress posed in #29 to the one in the original post. You’ve got a great body.

@babypearls:  Good luck with your training!  Try to keep in mind the type of wedding you want to have; I think that would help you narrow down the dress you end up buying.  Some girls here end up having dress regret or decide on a venue that their dress ends up not fitting well in.  You’re in great shape though and any dress you decide on will look great on you!

I’d love to have a Lazaro (from a few years ago, I’m not a fan of their styles now) or another big designer gown (Jim Hjelm or Monique Lhuillier), but I’m happy I could afford my Allure!

Compared to some other Pnina Tornais, that dress is pretty understated.

If this is the type of dress that makes you happy then i say go for it! Pnina is known for her great bodices so no doubt your body will looking amazing!

Personally though I’d have to vote against this dress.  My fiance is Catholic and if i was walking down the aisle in see-thru fabric he’d have a heart attack.  LOL!!!!!! Laughing

Not a big fan or Pnina or see through…that being said, I think it depends who is wearing the dress and the style and setting of the wedding.  To me, it is easily a gown that could wear the bride instead of the bride wearing the gown…but on others, it may look incredible.  To each, her own!

I think it’s a BEAUTIFUL dress, and if I had the nerve I would wear it in a heart beat. But I’m really conservative. I don’t even feel comfortable wearing spaghetti straps. But I don’t think it’s trashy. A little risque but if that’s you than rock it!
