A few weeks ago I posted about being concerned about being pregnant. I did two tests that were negative so my fears were dissipated, despite having no period (am on the pill so was semi expecting it but my first thought goes to pregnancy!)
Anyway, I started bleeding on Saturday so was relieved as I thought this meant my period was starting…but I definitely wouldn’t call it a full blown period (minimal blood loss and it lasted for way shorter than usual…usually a 7 day girl with reasonably heavy periods, this one was around 4, very light)
So I am not sure if my symptoms could be signs of pregnancy, despite having BFNs and a bleed, or if they could be something else. I have heard stories of people getting pregnant on the pill and my husband and I do not use condoms so his sperm could definitely get up there!
frequent nosebleeds (have heard this is a symptom due to increased blood flow) these have no stopped thankfully. Doctors have put it down to the time of year, central heating dries out nasal passages but the time of year has never given me frequent nose bleeds at all.
bruises for no reason – I have a bruise on my arm that hasn’t done anything, no colour change, no fading or getting smaller for about 4 weeks now.
fatigue – it can get to 9pm and I will be absolutely exhausted…and I can sleep until 8.30 in the morning (thank goodness I am on holiday!)
slight nausea – I am not sick but feel a little nauseous occasionally
small stomach cramps – not to make me wrihe in pain but I am aware they are there.
migraines – I have had two in the past month…usually I go at least 6 months between having them
zero sex drive – I used to be someone who would just have to think about my husband to get turned on, but there have been a couple of times when we have been beginning sexy time and I will be feeling absolutely nothing.
(ETA: dry mouth occasionally as well)
So…I cannot decide if this is my body having a bad reaction to the pill I am on, or if I am pregnant…or if it is something else.
Any words of advice will be fantastic!
