@Mrs.Jansen:  A few hours at least. And I don’t want to get your hopes up either. It just happened to me so it can happen.  Also I made my DH pee on one, I know I am crazy and his did not have a line and it never showed up. πŸ™‚

@country chic:  I have had 2 tests on my counter for over 48 hours, it’s not true that ALL tests would turn positive… I keep all my tests taken for that cycle until after the next cycle and none of them show a second line. A line usually means that some HCG was detected, unless it is an evap line, which looks more grey than the picture the OP posted. A test can be considered positive if looked at after the recommended time – it did for me at the clinic I work at. When I got a BFP for my chemical pregnancy it was after like 30 minutes that I saw a line, but the blood test confirmed it.

A trashed test was my first clue that I was preggo. I’d thrown away a test thinking it was negative. Much later in the day I took the trash out and saw the line. I’d peed on lots of sticks up until that point and none ever had a late line show up. I used FMU for the test the next day and it was positive even on a digital.

Good luck!!!

@Mrs.Jansen:  Lol, TEST! Sorry we are a bunch of enablers!! But I have to say I am with Chuck on this one. I have kept many a pregnancy test and gone back and look at it everyday frequently and I have never had a line like that turn up! Please test!

Ah! Test again! I would wait until the weekend though, that way you know you would probably get a bright pink line.=] I was trying to go and look at my dollar store test in the trash that I took yesterday that was negative to see if it changed so I could compare, but he threw out the trash this morning!

I say test again, ya never know. But not to sound like an ass, but never look at a test after it has been in the trash. Once the time frame of 10 mins has passed just toss it and focus on the next day. I am a long time TTC-er and false hope from others can make it so much harder if the cycle doesn’t work. Not that yours is failed, just speaking from many many months of experience peeing on a stick twice a day.  I really do hope this is it for you girlie! πŸ™‚

That doesn’t look like an evap to me. It’s too dark. I would test again so you don’t drive yourself nuts waiting until the weekend.
