My aunt and Uncle are like this- They’re like Barrie, Carrie and Mary. And it’s funny at first, but my aunt says she regrets it because they always have to ask twice who people are asking for on the phone, and it’s hard to know who people want.

She says if they have another kid (Mary’s like 3), they’re debating giving the kid a different name, but doesn’t want the second child to feel bad because they don’t have a matching name. But she doesn’t want another “ary” in their family!

@nearlymarriedlass:  Why not name her Lilian or Liliana? Then she can go by Lilly or Lil if she wants or go by her full name?

@nearlymarriedlass:  What about Liana (Leanna), Lilith, Elizabeth, Olivia? Susan comes from the word for lily, so maybe a version of that as well?

In my immediate family, there’s a Terry, Mary, and Cherie (pronounced Sherry)! Haha, luckily our names were not often said in the same sentence and they look different enough that the rhyming is not too obvious.
