It borders on comically large imo and ends up looking a little costumey as a result.
If you were they sort of person who had a really flashy lifestyle then it could suit you but otherwise it will jump out as a moissanite or cz, I don’t know if that will bother you.

I dont mind the size, but the cut of that stone is not the best.

You should maybe try a 2ct equivalent elongated stone. It will make your finger look thinner and still give a large look to your stone

Personally that would be too big for me. I plan on getting a 2 CT moissy but I want to see how it’ll look on my finger. I have long fingers and average size I think. I’m a 6- 6.5.

I love it!
However, I like that amount of coverage (approximately 50-55%); whereas, many prefer 40-45% coverage. Choose what you like; not what others like.

I dont mind the coverage or size, but no one is going to believe thats a diamond.

OP that looks like an older moissy to me, there is a lot of green. For a stone of that size I recommend one of the newer antique cut moissanites if you want it to resemble a diamond (and there’s nithing wrong with that).

I think it looks stunning on you.

Finger coverage is only a thing to a certain extent imo. If you’re ok with most poeple probably thinking it’s a CZ/stim/”fake”, then it looks great. But if you’re worried about people not thinkingn it’s a diamond, even though the finger coverage is what you’re looking for, it looks too big for that.

I think it’s a beautiful ring and if it provides the finger coverage you’re seeking, you should go for it (knowing all the opinions of the posters likely reflect some of what people may think or say to you about your ring). I do think you might want to consider a different shape and/or cut of stone as PP have suggested and then ultimately go with what pleases you most.
Finally, not to be harsh, but if your nail polish is frequently in the state it’s in in your pictures, that is going to impact the overall look of your hands as well as the perception of your ring’s quality, unfortunately.

I have 7.5 finger and I think anything over 1.5 is too big for daily wear.. this is just my opinion, your ring is beautiful and if you like it go for it. I am sure my 0.75 tcw looks too small for you. Buy and enjoy it if you love that ring @alemonpav

I like big stones (and mine is around 3.5 ct) and my ring size is a little bigger than yours.
However, I think you can do better. That moissy does not look well cut and I agree with others, it might be an older one due to the odd tinge.
The overall effect is costume jewelry. I don’t know if you were hoping for something diamond-like (some moissy owners do; others don’t) but from the photos this one is not very diamond-like. Most people are going to see it and assume CZ or similar.

Too big for my taste. I wouldn’t go larger than 1-1.5 with a moissanite.

I agree with a PP suggesting a more elongated shape. Personally I think this one is a little too much and not the most flattering shape – since it’s so big and round, it cuts off your finger visually and makes your hand look short. You could size down to a smaller oval and still get a dramatic look but also have some breathing room around your finger.

I disagree. It stood out immediately that it was a moissanite. @Hunnibee88
