I love it.  Looks just like mine, but my band has smaller stones.

TBH, I think I like channel settings better. But… I’m also not totally sure I know what  a channel setting is. So… maybe not the best person to respond.

ETA: and yes, I do wonder if those prongs poke or just push on the neighboring fingers.

It’s a beautiful ring. I would not worry about it being too flashy.

As for the band, that’s more a matter of personal preferance. It’s beautiful, but as for comfort and durability it’s depends on the person. I preffer channel set since I personally am hard on my rings (don’t want to risk losing a stone) and don’t like the feel of pave stones between my fingers. BUT again that is something that seems to differ greatly person to person.

I think it’s a very pretty ring, but at the end of the day you have to wear it.  if you feel uncomfortable with the “flash factor,” you’ll probably always feel uncomfortable about it.  The other thing to consider is channel sets can be a little more durable than pave so if you are very active/work with your hands, it might be a better life style option. That being said, I really do think it’s lovely as is!

@Gregdpw:  i would be concerned about the prongs too but im OCD chanel set diamonds are a little more secure. Depends also on your partner.

Is she flashy

does she like a lot of sparky (who doesnt though right?)

what does she do for work

what activities doe she partake in

will this ring suit her lifestyle

its a beautiful ring, but totally unsuitable for myself.
