Unless she has told you she doesn’t like big rings… she will LOVE it! Diamonds are a girls best friend… even for the ones that say they don’t agree with that statement. She will LOVE it.

It’ very chunky. Does she have petite hands?

For me, I’d like something daintier.

Size 4 is small I’m uk so I’m guessing here. I’d make band slimmer

This is a matter of preference.  Has she told you she likes chunky/bold rings?

Personally I would prefer a more dainty halo so that the center stone would stand out and the band being 2mm in width.

I think it depends on if your gf likes halos. Some people hate them. Have you asked her what her preference is?

Halos have to be done in a very tasteful manner to look nice IMO.  I think if the halo is too bulky (which is how I feel about the halo and band) that it takes away from the overall beauty of the center stone.  You want that to be the focal point of the ring.  She’s also a size 4, which is quite small.  The center stone being 1.5 ct is already going to look very large on her hand, even without a halo.  I think that if you’re deadset on having a halo, you should make it MUCH smaller.

Does it look similar to anything you know she likes?

I am also a size 4 and it would be too chunky for me, but that doesn’t mean someone else wouldn’t love it.  What size are those size stones?

Im a size 4.25 and I love HUGE diamonds, i want a big ring, but i don’t like halos. If you’re sure she like halos then I think it’s lovely. As for “too big”, I have really long skinny fingers so it wouldn’t look big on my hand at all

It looks kinda chunky. Does she generally like chunky jewelry or more dainty pieces? And what size are her fingers? For me it’s way too chunky, but if that is a look she likes it’s gonna be fine. Just make sure it is her style before you commit, because that is a lot of look there with such a prominent halo an generally chunky ring.

Smaller halo and smaller stones along the band. You want that center stone to shine. 1.5 carats is perfect for a size 4, but you don’t want to overwhelm that with all the side stones. Keep in mind, she’ll also get a wedding band when you get married and that’ll be even more bling.

I love the size of the center diamond and love halos and the Pavé. I think the band itself though is too wide for size 4 fingers.

1.5 cts is a decent size for size four hands. I’d go with a more timeless solitare setting. Unless her friends have told you she prefers halos.

What size pointers are in the band, and what size is being used in the halo (carat weight of each stone)? It does look chunky, but since it’s a CAD I’d rather judge by the specs. Also, how far up is it going to sit off her finger?
