Did you make a comment that you really loved it at the time? I wouldn’t think it’s rude. Just clueless.
Yeah, I don’t think it’s rude either. She didn’t throw a fit when you said no or anything. I’m guessing she’s just a little more than desperate to get it out of her closet :).

i think she just wants to sell her dress. i dont think she was meaning to be rude

Not rude at all… and not offensive at all.

@Bazingau: its been so long i couldent tell you i just remember the 80s sleeves lmao and a lot of lace and not good lace. im just thinking really???? the dress has to be yellowed by now. i just dont understand why in the world she would ask me that i mean im not rich but i can afford a nice dress and this is my first wedding too she knows that much we have been out of touch for about 20 years we were close in out teens im almost 40 years old and so is she.

I don’t think it’s rude necessarily, just kind of random.
Reminds me of a thread from a while ago where the friend gave the bride her old centerpieces as a shower gift and suggested using them at the wedding…

I can’t figure out what could be offensive about that.
It’s not rude, who cares? Maybe she just wants to sell it or see it used.

I would rethink posting all the wedding stuff on FB …. this is just the first thing … wait till people start asking if they are invited on your wall
oh and not rude or offensive .. she’s looking to unload

@HisIrishPrincess: lmao i know wow your right i need to be more hush about it lol

I think you’re overthinking this. She saw your status, so she mentioned the dress. You said no, everyone moves on.
@KatyElle: thats true. maybe im over thinking her motives.

I’m a little confused at what you think was rude and why? Because she asked you to buy her dress? That wouldn’t offend me.
