I love it!!! Lol WTF to the people who don’t ” get” it- what’s there to get? It’s an awesome, unique & personal pic. You better use it!

It is totally cute and if you love it than it means it is perfect. It isn’t about what the guests think it is about who you are.

I LOVE the photo, but maybe something to think about is that a big reason to include a photo in STDs is that it helps more distant or older relatives/family friends you might not have seen in a while, or who may have never even met you or your Fiance, remeber and/or get to actually see who the couple is. It can kind of serve as an introduction to the two of you as a couple, which this one definitely does in one way! (since it shows a lot of your personality) But, those could be anybody’s feet, ya KWIM? Of course, if you have a small guest list without anyone who hasn’t seen your faces in a while (or ever) then maybe this wouldn’t apply to you. This was just what came to mind when I saw the pic, so I thought I’d point it out.

Love it! B+W is the best.

But I have a suggestion: I showed a picture like this to my dad and one of the first things he said was: That photographer isn’t very good, their heads are cut off!

Could you do two batches of STDs? Some of those who will appreciate the feet photo and a “normal” one for those a little bit older/conventional who won’t?

I just had to pop in to second nearly everyone else, I LOVE this and am so jealous! People that “don’t get it” will shrug, which seems like the worst that could happen aside from so many people totally loving it! I wish we could have had a chance to incorporate our animals in our save the dates, you’re so lucky!

The picture is cute but I wouldnt use it for an STD… You could use it for table numbers or add it to your website..

Here’s an idea… Why don’t you send different photos to different people? If they are of a generation that you know won’t ‘get it’ then send them a photo of your faces. If it’s to people who know you well, then send this photo. (I ‘heart’ the b/w!)

This is something we have done as well for our invites. We sent different ones for different persons mainly because my Mother-In-Law did NOT wanna budge from the super-old traditional invites of ‘ivory’ coloured paper with golden writing on it. (WTF?) Our other invites are Black, Ivory and Red based. So the different STDs can save you a lot of annoyances.

@Jeannine @ Small Chic:  I’m happy you’re going with the B&W one for your STDs. It is so cute! I think people will love them, especially since you said your dog is like a mini-celeb in your town. And I love the last paragraph of what you wrote–I wish I could adopt that way of thinking more often ๐Ÿ™‚
