I’m hiring a woman I know from work do my and my mom’s hair and makeup before the wedding, but not my bridesmaids. I was worried she wouldn’t have time to do everyone’s herself, and also that it would get expensive very fast.
But now I’m feeling a little guilty, that maybe I should splurge and have her do their hair and makeup too? What do you think? If you were my bridesmaid, would you be offended?

I wouldn’t be offended.
I think it also depends on what all you are asking your bridesmaids to do, though. If you are asking that they get their professionally done, I would extend the option to them of using your lady. Or maybe she has a co-worker that could do theirs? If you are just telling them they can get it done or do it themselves, then I’d just leave it up to them. At the very least, ask them what their plans are for that day.

I wouldn’t be offended, but I think you should email them and ask if any of them are interested in getting theirs done also…on their own dimes.

@SoonToBCJ: No. I wouldn’t be offended, but I would tell my BMs that if they want their make up done they could pay for it themselves. I would just give them the option to have it professionally done.
