I think it looks totally normal.  Pretty, but not too flashy.

I’m young and in school, I have a 1ct moissy and I sometimes worry that people think it’s flashy and I have big fingers! I wouldn’t go more than a carat.

Also, you aren’t going to be “young and in school” forever.  AND, you are getting an OEC which will be quite warm, colour wise and an antique cut.  If you are passing it off, both those things mean they are cheaper than white diamonds/modern cuts.

@frommisstomrs.:  love the size of the one you have! I think it looks really good. but if you really want larger Tim think between 1ct ans 1.25 wouldn’t be to big.

I think the size looks good on your hand. Are you concerned with “passing it off?” Generally people say if you couldn’t afford the diamond equivalent then don’t go so big. If you don’t care about passing it off and are proud to tell people it’s moissanite, then go for it! Have you seen moissanite in person? Make sure you really like it before switching.

Get what’s going to make you happy. If you don’t care what other people think, then get the size that you think looks the best. If it’s important to you that people think that your stone is a diamond (I’m not sure if it is or not), I’d think about what sizes of stones are common in your region/social circle and make a decision from there.

My personal opinion is that the 1.25 looks pretty big on your hand and I would probably go smaller.
