So I tried on this dress in September by myself. I was hoping to try it on again and show it to my friends in person just this past weekend. Unfortunately, it was no longer available in store and I was so disappointed. The dress can still be ordered but I am really unsure without trying it on again. My wedding is in July 2010 and I feel like I am running out of time. I’ve tried on maybe 40-50 dresses and this dress is the one that I keep comparing everything to – maybe a sign that it’s the one? I’m just a little scared because I had previously envisioned a more simple fitted dress (mermaid or fit and flare) and instead have fallen for something that has a full A-line and lots of bling.
Anyway, I would love your opinions here… should I just order the dress? or continue to try on other dresses? Thanks so much.

Oooh, the pics are so dark that it’s hard to be definitive… but I love the fact that the pickups seem so light and airy and not heavy. I will say that you’ve got a kickin’ bod and you probably won’t go wrong with whatever you pick!

I really like the dress – it’s gorgeous!
Can you call all the stores in your vicinity and see if anyone has the sample?
I went through the exact same thing as you and drove 3 hours to try on the sample one more time before I bought the dress!

It looks gorgeous on you. I think if you always go back to that one in your mind, then you should go for it. I also went for something completely different than what I thought I would choose, but when you start trying dresses on, you discover new things… Love it!

I like it! And that’s always a sign for me – if I keep comparing it to everything else!! Sounds like it’s the one to me!

I just wanted to chime in to say you still have plenty of time, and not to make a decision if you feel crazy rushed! I got married in July of this year and wasn’t even engaged a year ago. You should be fine if you place an order by mid-February!
(All of that is unrelated to the fact that dress looks awesome on you!)

I think you should keep on looking to see what’s out there. The dress will always be there. You may fall in love with something else more if you try on more dresses.

I think it’s looks great on you! And about the “orginial vision” – I had always envisioned myself in an A-line dress, and ended up with a trumpet cut instead.
Sounds like you’ve tried on enough dresses, but this one still keeps calling back to you! If you know the size and model number, I say, go for it!!!

I second the suggestion of calling other bridal shops to see if they carry that sample so that you can try it on again. I would be nervous about ordering it since you tried it on a while ago. I think you still have plenty of time to order a dress, though. Good luck!
