So after picking my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses now I am paranoid that it is to much to pay. The total including shipping is $167.85.

I could have the girls just buy the blouse for 78.90 and we could make the skirts ourselves for much less then the 60 some dollars they are asking. What do you think?

I’d say its fine. I even think that price is really reasonable for a long skirted dress

I paid 250 for a dress including tax and shipping (285 with alterations) soo 167 is an awesome price, especially for a long dress!

So its really seperates? Buy the blouse and have the skirts made or find them somewhere else. If you order them as is, there’s no guarantee there also won’t be alterations needed, increasing the cost.

I don’t think that $167 is too much to pay unless your BMs have specifically indicated to you that they only afford something less. I wouldn’t add another stress (and make them yourself) unless you feel its absolutely necessary (or really would enjoy it). 🙂

It seems pretty reasonable to me, but I’m basing that on my own experience of buying Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.

This seems like an elaborate look, so that cost sounds okay. That being said, it really depends on where your BMs are at financially speaking. I’d take a poll from them before you decide.

That’s a great price – especially for a long dress. Most of mine have been around $200 for other weddings, and my girls are paying about $170 after tax and shipping.

Most of you seem to feel it is a reasonable price. I guess it is time to run it past the girls. Thanks!
