It’s huge. Honestly I would rock it. I think it’s beautiful. I never heard of someone knocking things over with a diamond my mom has a 2.5 ish carat rock and she goes through life just fine.  I think the double halo is fine especially if you two closer to two carats. If you do 2.5 maybe one halo should be fine.

It totally depends on your taste and your lifestyle. It’s not “too big” in any objective sense, unless you do something with your hands that the ring would get in the way of.

It all depends on what you like! Don’t worry about what others think.

That would be a cocktail ring for me. My taste is a bit more understated and simple.

I don’t think the stone itself is too big, but I do think a double halo is too much for a stone of that size. The ring looks “busy” to me, and IMO the halos just detract from the center stone. I would go for the 3 carat center stone, and ditch the halo altogether ๐Ÿ™‚

Not too big at all! but I wouldn’t do the double halo because then it’ll look like a bling saucer.

“Too big” is entirely subjective, of course (well, unless you’re wearing a golf ball on your finger, but hey, maybe even then…). I’d consider it too big given my personal preferences/taste/style, but if YOU like the size and are comfortable wearing it, then that’s all that matters.

Quote from a TV show (can’t remember their names):

Person 1: “Actually, I have another ring, but I’m worried that the diamond is too big.”

Person 2: “That sentence doesn’t even make sense.”

This post made me think of that quote, haha. There is no such thing as too big of a diamond. ๐Ÿ˜‰ In all seriousness, it looks great and suits your hand.
