Hi @linnylou_88: … first and foremost a BIG Welcome to “the Hive”

Lol, for some gals there is NEVER TOO MUCH BLING !!

So it really is a matter of choice / preference.  There are no right or wrong answers.

And YES the best way to get an idea of what you’ll like is go out and “see” / try things on.

I myself have a rather blinged out ERing… and I wear it with a coordinating “sparkly” WBand (they go together well… but weren’t made that way… the ERing was a custom design from a Family Run Jewellers… and the glitter WBand from a Chain Jewellery Store)

In addition, I have as well a plain WBand.

This is because as an Encore Bride I knew I wanted to be able to wear a WBand all the time… no matter what I was doing.

The plain band gives me this option… when I would otherwise have to go without or worry about my Diamonds… so things like doing Home Renovations – Painting – Deep Cleaning – Scuba Diving – or when Mr TTR and I travel abroad to some countries where my Diamonds would attract the wrong type of attention.

Having 2 WBands works for me… and infact they were both blessed and given to me during our Wedding Ceremony.

I am not alone in this 3 Ring “Circus”… there are lots of gals here on WBee who have mulitiple Rings / Bands.  Especially now that the “stackable” look is so popular.

I certainly have discovered the joys of that as well… in that with 3 Rings, I can wear em 1, 2, or 3 at a time… or in a multitude of combinations.  Makes being a “married lady” all the more fun.

Hope this helps,

I think it’s a beautiful weddingband and not at all too blingy! The gap is something that lots of women rock and do so on purpose! I’ve always liked the look. I do the stacked look (like This Time Round) mentioned. I will put up pictures (I took the old ones down), when I receive my ering back from the jewellers – it’s in for maintanence.

You just can’t go wrong with that combo. Keep trying on other designs, but if this is your favourite – it’s beautiful!

@linnylou_88:  Never too much bling! LOL  you’re e ring is so pretty I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you choose:) Try on different styles and see what “speaks” to you. I hope you have fun shopping!

My e ring has the look of multiple bands so in keeping with its symmetry, FH had two wedding bands made to match the band on my e ring. I love them!

@linnylou_88:  I think it is perfect! Do you feel self conscious because of your location? I know when I lived in the UK, most sets weren’t very blingy.

@linnylou_88:  Well, for what it’s worth, I don’t think they are overpowering at all. I think, too, there’s a shift in wedding jewelry over there. More people are starting to wear more prominlast sets instead of worrying about the connotations.
