Welcome!

As someone who DOES think that there is such a thing as too much bling, I think that set is perfect!

No such thing! And I think a diamond band would look GREAT! Maybe a channel-set band to match your side stones?

That is something you need to decide. Also, if you have the money you can always get a wedding band customized so the engagement ring fits with it.

Also as someone who doesn’t wear a lot of jewellery, any big jewellery and very little bling I don’t find the two too blingy together – I find them tasteful. Again, that’s up to you because it is your personal taste.

@linnylou_88:  i wouldnT say it it’s too blingy, but i just think those 2 rings don’t go well together because the diamonds in the band are different settings.

@linnylou_88:

Not too much bling at all… very, very pretty!

As for sitting flush, look at it this way. The band does sit flush with your center stone, and it sits flush on the far left and right sides of your e-ring. So to me, it looks like it is sitting flush so to speak. Yes there are two teeny gaps on either side of your center stone where your e-ring band tapers and gets skinnier, but I think it all works. It is an absolutely beautiful set.

Congratulations!

@linnylou_88:  I think your engagement ring is gorgeous, and the band overshadows it. I think a plain band, or a band that sits flush would look much better!

IMO, a plain wedding band will look the nicest and more classic.
