Hello bees,
I found a design that I liked for my veil. Actually it is two different designs. One is a drop veil and the other is a scalloped edge that I like. I am planning on getting the drop veil (140 inches) with the scalloped edge and beading. I was quoted $250 for this, and about $215 for a plain edge. Is that a good price?

Sounds like a lot to me. Is this from a bridal shop or online? If online, I’d look around some more. You can get veils made pretty inexpensively.

It’s online, but this is the first time that I saw something like this. If ya’ll see something similar for less, please direct me to it.

@ejs: Thanks. I will be checking those out later with my Mama. We both like the drop veil and we want it to be about 140 inches. I like the price of the veils that you showed. And I will check out Venus Veils too.

It depends on what material it is in!
If it’s Bridal Illusion it’s waaaay overinflated. If it’s English netting it might not be.
Also the pearls… if they are freshwater pearls, they can be quite expensive. Second best are Swarovski pearls (faux pearls). Cheapest – and yuckiest – option are plastic pearls.

Thanks ladies! We have been looking around and I think I may want to go with a 140-150 inch drop veil with no beading. My dress has beading on it and I think it would be great to have a dramatic drop veil.
