I’d like to use these flowers with the pearls and feathers removed as boutonniere’s. I’d get them in a bright red to match my colors with a black button center so they look kinda like poppys.
What do you think? Are they too girly or are all boutonniere’s sorta girly so it doesn’t matter?

I think it is, too girly. However, it depends on what your Fiance thinks.

It looks a bit more like a corsage than a boutonniere to me. If you made the flowers smaller and added a stem to it, might work.

What is it that makes them girly? The lack of stem? I’m not really fond of most boutonnieres with stems and they are worn without for like remembrance day:
Is it the fabric? If it were a matte fabric would it be better?

I think the pearls make them girly
ETA: so i just read where you said you would have the pearls removed 😀
I think they will be find

The pearls definitely make them girly!

I like the ones you posted later that are made of ribbon. I don’t really like the first one because it looks too flowery for me.

@HoneyBear: lol, that’s why I made that bold and put it in the title. I figured people might ignore it if I just wrote it. I know if there’s a picture I often ignore the writing. Maybe I should photoshop the picture to remove the pearls and feather and then repost
