Are any of these gifts something you would give them for their birthday? If the answer is no… which it honestly should be, IMO… then it’s not an acceptable gift for your bridesmaids.

Spend your money wisely and purchase a thoughtful for each friend (not for their “role” as your bridesmaid). They’ll remember that gift as a token of your friendship.

I don’t think its to much but I would swich one or two out for something not wedding related. So in my case instead of doing shirts that say bridesmaids I did shirts that say Best Day Ever. It works for a wedding day but they can also wear it again and be completely unrelated. My moh really liked the idea. I did get them some day stuff like jewelry but I also got them flip flops (can wear again), shot glasses (can use again), and coach wristlets (will def use again). I like the idea of the yoga pants. I would definitely wear those again but probably not use a bag that says bridesmaids but if it just had my initials on it or nothing on it i would use it again!

I received the exact tote and flip flop set and they have never once seen the light of day. They are useless – no one cares that I was a bridesmaid. Get them a cute tote bag that matches their personalities. Target has lot of cute stuff right now. I would skip all the clothing too, to be honest. Go with a gift card to their favorite store

Yeah, even if the tank tops are blank. It’s still a tank top. And now it’s just a plain solid colored tank top. It’s kind of up there with getting sock for Christmas as a kid.

It’s so sweet you want to gift them but I think if you are going to spend the money you should get something they might actually like.

Even if the tank tops are plain, they’re REALLY see-through – obviously made of very cheap fabric.  I wouldn’t wear it ever – certainly not to be photographed in!

Make sure you are getting your Bridesmaid or Best Man a gift they will use. I am a fan of giving personal gifts (i.e. getting a coffee drinker a Starbucks card or a yogi a mat). All of these gifts seem to fit into the vision you have for your day. I like the mimosa idea!

You’re sweet but it think its a waste of money. This is stuff that they’ll never use again.

Honestly – I’d enjoy the mimosas more if I could have more than one, and it would be cheaper to just serve them from actual bottles into glasses vs. tiny individual ones.

A colleague of mine just got married and, instead of spending the money on a bunch of little chotchkeys and monogrammed totes, she just bought each of her bridesmaids a handbag they would actually use – to their taste. She probably spent about $75 each for her three girls, but with outlet shopping she got them three totally different and very nice gifts.

You’re being sweet, but not very thoughtful as to what these friends would actually appreciate – vs. what would look cute in pictures.
