Alright gang, I’m driving myself nuts trying to find some sort of hair piece. Nothing is really standing out to me. I’m not wearing a veil so I’d like something with a pow to it. I know I want it to sparkle and all the ones I find are just “blah” to me. But I found this one and it called to me, but then I’m wondering, is it too much/overpowering for my sheath dress?
Here’s my dress for reference:

I really like them together!

Wow! That is a statement piece! I think it would be absolutely gorgeous with your dress! Would you wear it on the right side, like the model? I think this would look fabulous with your dress, especially since the fabric that sweeps in a diagonal line under the bust runs from left to right.

@Brielle: Thanks, I would wear it on the side where the diagonal starts, I think. I intend to have some (not all) of my hair down and don’t want to cover the fabric on the other side.

meeeh im sorry but im being honest… i’m not a fan.
i think you can pull off a piece that large, but i don’t think that all the feathers go, nor does the long strand of jewels on the bottom.
i absolutely love your dress, though! its stunning 🙂
i found this etsy shop on the bee today, maybe some of these appeal to you?

i’ll agree with @September29. i don’t think the concept of the piece is too much, just that the actual piece does not mesh with your dress, which is elegant. i’m sure you could find something sparkly that matches the tone of your dress better. i think the key here is the jewels on the headpiece are more clunky and costumey than sparkly and elegant. try to match something more like what is on your dress (i can’t really see what the beading of your dress is like) but september posted some elegant things.

I think it depends on your hair. If you have thick hair with lots of body I think you can definitely pull it off… I think it would be harder to pull off with fine/thin hair ..
