@FutureWife517:  I meant the sound quality on the recording! I’m sure your Fiance is GREAT!

Dont listen to the people who voted against it – really. I would BUY your FI’s CD, and I would be estatic to receive it as a favor.

I’m a singer too, and I can see both sides – I get the appeal but I can also see why you’re asking.

I think that something like the picture you posted would be perfect actually – the CDs are available in a box (maybe next to the guestbook or card box), instead of being handed out to every guest or put near each place setting (which might make people feel awkward if they don’t want one). I don’t think anyone would feel pressured by that – if they think it’s shameless self-promotion they can just skip it, no harm done.

So, if you want to, just go for it πŸ™‚

I do like the CD idea but maybe instead of having your Fiance sing all the songs maybe he can do a few. Since yousiad most people understand your love for music then they would like to at least get a personal touch of hearing your Fiance sing 1-3 songs.

Yay girl! I’m so glad you’ll get to share your FI’s talents πŸ™‚ I think your guests will love it.

Off topic but is he going to sing at the wedding? A choir friend of mine surprised her new husband with a song at their reception and it was totally adorable. I’m considering doing a duet with my guy instead of a first dance. I love hearing how musicians incorporate music into their weddings πŸ™‚

I was going to vote against it but listening to him on the link you provided, he’s actually a good singer so I say go for it. I was just going to listen to a quick snippet to see how good (or bad) he was but ended up leaving it playing in the background. I like the idea of having other people on it too instead of just him.  That way it won’t just seem like shameless self-promotion, it’d just be an inclusion of him to help personalize a disc along with other music the both of you love.

You don’t want people to think that he’s pushing his music in their face. Imagine what peopyou would think if a famous musician like Bruno mars or someone gave his cd as a wedding favour to guests :/ I think it’s a little big headed tbh :/ just my opinion :/
