Yes I would consider this dress appropriate and would be pleased if someone wore it to my wedding as it is dressy and also colourful. If I was wearing it to a wedding I would probably take a shawl or little cardigan to wear over it just in case – more so with a church wedding.

a fancy maxi dress is very appropriate for a wedding. Open back is fine too. You can have open back when you wear a long dress, it’s a classy look. Great choice

I think it’s a lovely and appropriate dress. The length does not make it “too formal” at all

The color is very similar to our main wedding color so I hope one of my guests finds this! 🙂

I don’t think its inappropriate but, I am in the minority thinking it looks like a dressing gown. There’s something about the bow thats just not working..

I think it’s the perfect thing to wear to a wedding! This is super cute and would work wonderfully for a special event. Plus I’ve noticed in some “DJ gig log” videos that all the girls wearing short strapless dresses have to be mindful of their dress while dancing.. such an annoyance!

No its very tasteful! I say go for it, just make sure the fit is proper otherwise that can add all sorts of inappropriateness

Chiming in to say that I saw the picture of the dress and bought it myself! May not be the greatest idea buying something like this while pregnant. But I think it’s gorgeous!
