@MissCaraMia:  I love that you keep your ring on a dinosaur’s neck. LOL.

@KaylaFromAR:

I prefer white gold because it looks good against my dark skin. However, I don’t think there is anything wrong with yellow gold if that is what people like.

I associate yellow gold with childhood because all of my kids jewellery was yellow gold.

@KaylaFromAR:  Popular colors of metal come and go in a cyclical fashion. So go for what you like and what looks good on you. I have a white gold e-ring, partially because most of my other jewelry is white gold or sterling silver. However, I have a few gold pieces I like too. One of the good things about yellow gold is you won’t have to worry about getting it redipped like you probably will with white gold once the rhodium wears. 🙂

I know I post my ring a lot, but I love it! I have always like yellow gold (even though white gold/plat is also classic) so I think it all depends on the style of ring on wether it will be old fashiond.

I do not think it’s old fashioned at all!  My set is yellow gold.

I’m obsessed with my yellow gold e-ring! I almost didn’t go with it, but SO glad we did!

Yellow gold costume jewelry has been wildly popular again for a few years now and it seems to be picking up speed in fine jewelry more recently.  And like someone else stated, its the style of the ring more than the color metal that will make it seem trendy or dated – and these will go in & out if style till the end of time.

@KaylaFromAR:  I love my Yellow Gold rings. My Bridal Set is 10K yellow gold ring with 12K rose and green leaves and Flower; my enhancer is two-tone 10K gold, with the yellow gold as the ring part, and white gold holding the gems.

@KaylaFromAR:

No way is yellow gold too old fashioned! I love yellow gold. It depends entirely on your own personal preference!

There are some gorgeous yellow gold rings on the bee!!

Here are my babies Smile

@MissMarple:  thank you! We didn’t want them to be too small, but also didn’t want them to overpower the center stone. Very happy with how it turned out! 🙂

Not old fashioned, but not trendy either.

Yellow gold is definitely my favorite, but only because of my skintone. I have a lot of warm, yellow tones in my coloring, so white metals don’t compliment me as well. I wish we could eventually reach a point when colors of metals don’t go in and out of fashion as they do, but remain equally favoured depending on what looks good on the individual. I absolutely LOVE how white metals look on my cool-toned friends; just as much as I love yellow gold on myself and other warm-toned ladies. I’ve never understood why the trends must swing so strongly toward one or the other, when we all have our own unique style and coloring.
