I’m getting mine sized down as it is a size and a half too big right now even in the middleodd summer.

@roweboat: I would wait and see how it fits once you’re wearing a wedding band. Adding a second ring on that finger will make it feel tighter.

I was sized in the jewelry store as a 6.5, but soon discovered that it was a bit loose–the solitaire kept twisting around and the bottom of the ring would make a callous on the top of my palm where it meets myring finger. I had it downsized by 1/4 to a 6.25 and I’m thrilled with the fit.

So, maybe consider a 1/4 size?

if you dont want to get it sized down ask them to put beads inside the ring which will make it feel more snug.

Mine’s a little tight (it’s a 5.5), but I don’t want it to be too tight and cause ring love handles! The only time I really notice is if I’m really cold or swimming. Mine wiggles around more than a lot of peoples’ so I may end up getting it tighter. That said, it’s not going to just fall off and probably when I get pregnant it will be tighter so I may just deal.

Mine’s a little loose as well, we got it sized down a quarter when I first got it and it’s still a tad loose but i’m sure when I get pregnant or at other random times my ring will swell so i’m not too concerned about it. His mom had this awesome thing put in her ring years ago, its a little clip that you undo and it makes the ring bigger and then you clip it back together and it tightens it. I can’t find anyone who does this anymore!

I had two jewlers (one of which was the owner of the store, I figure he knows his stuff) size me at a 5.5 so that’s what I went with. According to them, it’s supposed to be snug and a little tuff to get off. I was told that no one else should be able to take your ring off, so maybe that would be a good test for you to try.

My ring has a little wiggle room but it also depends on the time of day/the temperature.

Rings tend to fit more snugly when you’re warm, and they tend to feel more loose in the Winter/when you’re cold.

I’m not sure what the weather is like where you are, but if it’s hot and your ring is still sliding around freely then it may be a tad big for you. (Unless this only happens when you’re in an air-conditioned place where your hands get cold.)

There should be some resistance when you try to pull your ring off. If it slides off without any resistance then you may want to size it down.

Mine spins, but my knuckle is bigger than my finger. If I got it sized down, it wouldn’t go back on.

I agree with the PP who said wait until you have a wedding ring, unless it’s just really loose.

When it’s cold, it gets loose, when it’s hot, it gets super tight.

Mine is also too loose. It has actually fallen off when my hands have been wet which is pretty scary. I’ll probably have to do something about it in the winter so I don’t lsoe it.

Mine is a little loose most of the time and even worse if my hands are cold. It’s not usually in danger of falling off or anything, and to be honest, I’d rather have it be a little loose than so tight that it looks like it’s cutting into my finger.

After losing a bunch of weight mine was about a half size too big, but once I had my two wedding bands soldered on it fits just fine again.

Yes mine is loose.  It’s a 6 nd that was what I was sized as BUT I could have gone maybe 5.75 or 5.5.  My ring spins and falls to the side (maybe cuz it’s a little top heavy) all the time and I am always having to right it.  I won’t size it down though.  It won’t just fall off.
