I did not solder mine but I completely understand your reasoning for soldering yours and the whole eternity not lining up! This is the reason I ended up getting a full eternity band. I love not having to line up my rings haha (first world problems).

definitely lol! I wanted a full eternity band but I was told that they can’t resize. And, honestly, through two pregnancies my fingers are the same so I totally could have gone for it.

If I go with a half eternity WB then I will just so they line up best. I never plan on wearing them separately, stacking or changing. I wouldn’t want a full eternity because I wear them 24/7 so I don’t want hand lotion getting stuck in the diamonds (I carefully work around the top part of my ER now when I use lotion so the diamond doesn’t get gunky). And also I don’t want the WB diamonds wearing the prongs of my ER.
If I get a plain band I probably won’t solder.

Yes. My band is a half eternity, so they look best lined up.

No. I change up according to my mood and circumstances. I would not wear my e ring to work because of my clientele so I have to be flexible.

Nope, I am too damn indicisive to be stuck with one style, maybe when I get older and won’t fuss with it so much… but I can’t see myself doing it any time soon.
