We’re having a casual wedding, and my groom is wearing some sort of summer suit (definitely not a tux). I asked if he wanted me to shop with him, and it gradually became clear that he really doesn’t. He wants to pick out his own wedding outfit and he wants me to be surprised. I’m finding this fairly adorable.
Why not? I shopped for my wedding gown without him and am not showing it to him before our wedding day. Why shouldn’t he get to do the same? What about you guys…any grooms want to surprise you? If so, how do/did you feel about it?

Fiance went tux shopping with his Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen.
When he left, he told me he wasnt going to tell me what he was getting which actually pissed me off.
Turns out when he got home, he ended up TELLING me what colours him and the guys were wearing.

Fiance is in the military and will be wearing his uniform. Although, we did pick out the tuxes for his non-military groomsmen together. Does that count?

I know he won’t wear a tux, but that is far as we have agreed. He says he doesn’t want to wear a suit, but if I left it up to him he would be in a T-shirt. That is just the kinda guy he is. We are getting married on the beach, so I don’t need him in full dress-up mode, but if I left it to him I would kill him before we were married.
