This is a great idea except my cats hate collars!

But it’s kinda funny that you just posted this and last night for the first time EVER, my cat snuck out and was hiding in the snow for 2 hours before we realized he was outside and found him! We’re so thankful he didn’t get too far or get hit by a car, and we have a lot of strays around so yes people probably would assume he was an outdoor cat!

MrsYellowDaffodil:  that is really cute. My cats are all indoor cats for safety reasons, but if they did escape I’ve heard that putting an item of clothing that you have worn outside your home can help them to find their way home again because they can trace the scent.

That’s so funny! What a great idea! When our family used to have cats, they always had collars. The orange color is a good idea though.

This is a great idea! Both of my kitties are indoor but when we moved into our house, I bought them both tagged collars. Maybe I’ll switch to orange, just in case!

Haha I had posted this on Facebook a few weeks back saying “orange is the new cat” and felt like a total cat lady.

I love the orange party hat. lets see if I can get one on her without her clawing at one on my arteries.

Well my cat is a dbag when it comes to collars. He will literally lay on the floor like a dead man before having to live with one on.

He did escape once, actually between the two cats I have had both have escaped WAY too many times. Latest time though was overnight. Hubs let our dogs out to tinkle and Boo snuck out. We didn’t even know until the morning came and we went to let the dogs out again. There he was, chilling on our deck like he owned the place.

He is an orange cat though, does that count?

lollllllllllll I just snorted in my office. Too real. I got my kitty the cutest most adorable etsy collar ever too. Now it’s added to the pile of cat toys and random crap I’ve gotten for her that she doesn’t give a shit about.

Seriously, how freaking adorable is this?!!
